Introduction

Palriwala Educational Research & Training Society (PERTS) is registered under the Societies Registration Act of XXI, 1860. Seth Madanlall Palriwala Foundation (SMPF) is the ‘Parent Body’ of PERTS.

Objective

The main objective of PERTS is skill development by imparting vocational training to the young boys and girls enabling them to earn their livelihood with self esteem. PERTS is committed to impart quality vocational training along with personality development of its students to make them complete citizens.

The 'Mission' of PERTS is "Socio-Economic Development / Improvement of the Poorer and Deprived Sections of Society". This is aimed to be achieved by skill development of the young boys and girls enabling them to earn their livelihood with self esteem.

Vision

Identify new employment/ vocational training opportunities especially relevant in fast changing liberalized economy. Technology and quality up-gradation search interface with Indian and foreign firms for soliciting employment of trained personnel

• Set up demonstration farms and provide research oriented new cropping patterns, biotech products, dry farming, etc. Teaching techniques to improve farm productivity
• PERTS aspires to upgrade our institutes to become a 'Deemed University' having a reputation and standing both nationally and internationally for imparting vocational education

Units of PERTS

PERTS at present has two institutes which are located at Lachhmangarh, in Sikar district of Rajasthan. These are:

• Palriwala Vocational Training & Research Institute (PVTRI) which imparts short term informal vocational training.
• Palriwala Industrial Training Centre (PITC) which imparts formal industrial training. PITC is affiliated to NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training).

Certificate is awarded to the trainees who pass the examination which is conducted after completion of the training.

PVTRI has been recognized by Entrepreneurship & Management Development Institute, Jaipur for providing short term skill development training under Rajasthan Mission of Livelihoods (RMoL). Training in the trades like Household wiring, Repair of domestic electrical appliances, Plumber etc is continuing in batches.

PITC offers formal industrial training courses. At present, following two courses are running under the Craftsmen Training Scheme of DGE&T, Government of India under NCVT affiliation.
